Note
Duration : 2 h + 2 h drying
Difficulty : 2/5
Material : DIY - Trick or Treat ! Little witch, scare me

Material

50 cm of black felt
20 cm of felt flesh
50 cm of orange ribbon about 2 cm wide
1 polystyrene cone 30 cm high (optional)
60 cm of 1 cm wide ribbon (choice of colour)
A little padding wadding
Fabric Booster Odif
Odicoat Odif
Scissors
Syringe and flat glue brush
Neutral thread and sewing needle
Pencil
Baking paper
Iron

Step 1

Step 1

Cut 2 circles of 35 cm in diameter and cut out a circle of 28 cm in diameter in the centre. Spray the 2 circles with Fabric Booster. Leave to dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 2

Step 2

In the meantime, cut a ¼ circle with a radius of 40 cm.  Glue the 2 flat sides together with the Odicoat Odif, using the polystyrene cone to form the cone of the hat. Spray the felt with the Fabric Booster and leave to dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Step 3

Crimp the edge of the cone of the hat then thread one of the circles on the cone and glue the notched edge on the underside of the circle with the Odicoat Odif.

Step 4

Step 4

Glue the 2nd circle under the hat with the Odicoat and let it dry.

Step 5

Step 5

Stick the orange ribbon around the hat with the Odicoat Odif.

Step 6

Step 6

In the felt flesh, cut the mask and the 2 parts of the nose (after having traced the contours using the templates) provided as well as 2 circles of 2cm and 5 cm in diameter for warts. Be careful to position the eyes according to the child's face before cutting them.
Spray the Fabric Booster on all parts of the mask. Leave to dry for about 20 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7

With the syringe, glue the legs of the nose and glue the 2 parts together. Leave to dry for about 10 to 15 minutes. Pass a pucker thread all around each of the circles and stuff them with cotton wool before closing the pucker thread.

Step 8

Step 8

Glue the nose in place and stuff it with cotton wool (especially at the end). Sew the warts, one on the nose, the other on the mask and then, using the Odicoat, stick strips of flesh felt around the eyes, on the forehead and around the mouth to simulate wrinkles. Leave to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 9

Step 9

In the black felt scraps, cut 2 triangles to represent the eyebrows and fringe the top. Also cut strips to define the eye contour.
Stick in place with the Odicoat and leave to dry for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 10

Step 10

Turn the mask over and with the Odicoat, tape the ends of the tape to attach the mask. Reinforce with a square of felt cut from the scraps. Also glue a triangular scrap to close the nose.
Let dry 24 hours before wearing the disguise.

Conclusion

Conclusion

All you have to do is ride your broom and you're done !

Tip
The bottom of the mask can be indented under the nose to free the child's mouth.
